Denver Capitol Hill          Click for Denver, Colorado Forecast

Gay Neighborhood, extraordinaire

If a bomb were dropped on this neighborhood, you might expect half the GLBT population in Denver to go up in flames.  No, really...

This neighborhood, if I'm allowed to extend actual boundaries a little, is located in the area as follows:

    To the west - Broadway

To the East - Colorado Blvd

To the North - Colfax Ave.

To the South - I-25, as it winds it's way across the city east-west

This is the area you want to live, work and play if you like all-things gay.  This is the area in which the clubs virtually encircle, and where the largest GLBT population resides.

As in all things, everything changes, and here in Denver, it usually happens quickly, and without notice. Thus Capitol Hill is no longer the long 'gay neighborhood' any longer. There's the Stapleton area (aka Gaypleton), Washington Park (Wash Park) area, and lastly, the Park Hill neighborhood. As I can better define the neighborhood parameters, I will post them.
