Gay Travel

I would be amiss in my duties as a journalist, and, well...gay man, if I did not let you know what exciting opportunities lay before you in the cities I travel -  Denver, Seattle and Denver.  I know that I had to search pretty hard to find quality and up-to-date sites that informed me about gay nightlife.  Unfortunately, there is still not a completely up-to-date place for information, although there exist several places you might go looking.

The first is www.sidewalk .com . It has a very friendly approach to keeping the public informed about gay venues and/or events, but when you actually see what is written, some of it is inaccurate.  They have a service that allows you to receive email about the gay scene here, and that happens to be very informative.

Next perhaps is a site called www.thinkgay.com .   Here you will find information about cities all over the country. Looking at the club info, there are clubs that have been closed, etc.  Bare bones info, if it is even accurate.

Last on this shortlist, for now, anyhow, is www.cafevivid.com .  It is actually perhaps the best of the lot, although this site, too, has inaccurate info.  This site works with www.digitalcity.com   to let a wider audience know about upcoming events, etc.  However, there is a lot to this site.  Personals, a very  dynamic calendar, chat room, etc.

I will continue to add to this list as time allows, but it is a start.
