Gay California
While New York City may be the birthplace of the modern Pride era of the what it means to be GLBT, nowhere is more associated with the common conception of being out and proud than California. From the Castro in San Francisco, to West Hollywood in LA, to the sands of Palm Springs, there is much to see and do in this country within a country. Each city has its own offerings, and its own very special style, so don't expect the same atmosphere and offerings in each, just because it's California! Go and explore each one, as there is something (or someone) to discover that you will find beautiful!
