Other Poetry
Sounds very nondescript, doesn't it? I guess I would hope it is anything but.
I think the most exciting thing that can happen when someone reads my poetry is this: do you find meaning in it? Doesn't matter what feelings, emotions, pictures I am trying to convey; do they have meaning to you, on a personal level? If you can connect with a poem, well, I just hope you can.
And if you do, would you let me know? Feedback is very meaningful, for me, anyhow. I must be honest, and say that I am not looking for an analysis of how my form is, or that I do not rhyme, or even that I tend to use a lot of sound repetitions and certain words. I am much more interested on what a poem has meant to you.
