Pannekoeken HuisNew! Pannekoeken Huis is reborn! There are now three restaurants in the Twin Cities! Please click on the link to the left for locations and other handy information. I would love to hear from anyone who has had a chance to visit them as to how the experience was. Also, if you are affiliated with Pannekoeken, either management or ownership, I'd love to hear from you! I would like to post how the restaurants have arisen from the ashes of Mr. Novocyk's (former owner of the 'old' Pannekoeken) bankruptcy. Pannekoeken Huis was my very first job! It was a restaurant that got its start in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, where I first started as a busboy. It had a Dutch theme, and funny enough, Dutch foods, such as their famous pannekoekens, which essentially are a puffy pancake. I eventually moved up to a server position, which I kept until they went out of business in 1996. It's too bad too, because it was a fun place to work! And pannekoekens are truly a yummy food! |
