Summation and Realtime

Working with live testimony

Summation includes an incredibly easy to use tool, that allows you to very quickly and easily mark or annotate testimony while taking a live deposition, or hearing or any type of proceeding where having the verbatim testimony right in front of you is crucial.

Also, please be aware you don't have to purchase the fully loaded version of Summation to get transcript and Realtime functionality! Summation sells a standalone version of just this feature set - upgrade to the fully loaded version when you need to! It's called Summation ST - let me know if you are interested in it - I'd love to help!

Top three features that make Realtime in Summation super-powerful in their ease of use:

Quick Marks

With a click on your space bar, you can annotate or mark key lines of testimony. No worry that you may not get the exact line - Summation has lots of tools that allow you to customize what you see to most effectively find that key testimony quickly!

Auto Marks

If you know the key words you know/suspect will be discussed with your deponent, you can key them into the Auto Marks feature. Summation will automatically flag the line that word or words occur - enabling you to stay focused on what your deponent is saying. Use Quick Marks (your space bar) for that unexpected testimony that gets uttered. Also, give your list of key words to the court reporter, enabling him/her to place them in their dictionary. This guarantees a cleaner realtime session, and ensures you get testimony marked accurately!

Reports

As testimony gets flagged/marked - what good is it if you can't get to it fast? Summation's Realtime feature includes an instant report of all flagged testimony. In addition, you can, at any time, refresh your report screen, which includes all newly marked testimony.
